Great success at AWC Vienna 2018
At the world’s largest and most challenging wine competition at AWC Vienna in Vienna all our wines that were in the competition got finally highly awarded. This is extraordinary success for our winery and its team but proves also impressively the high competiveness of our wines in the market.
In 2018 we achieved 6 Gold and 3 Silver awards.

It is an ardent type of dedication that compels Gottenheim-based winemakers Kilian and Martina Hunn to cultivate those uncomplicated, clear, fruity and fresh wines of Tuniberg hill. No matter how uncompromisingly edgy and clear-cut the labels on the bottles, they are still the most open, pleasantly self-confident and welcoming folks. We have arrived in their lovingly-furbished small tasting room on their estate in Gottenheim (…) (Badische Zeitung: Aufmachen und genießen - Open up and Enjoy)

PINOT NOIR 2014 (90 Points)
Kilian Hunn is a winemaker in Germany’s Baden region who makes a Pinot Noir that you could mistake for a red Burgundy. Released tomorrow at Vintages (currently in Vintages outlets) is Kilian Hunn Pinot Noir 2014. Mature ruby in colour, the wine has a spicy plum nose lifted with a floral note; medium-bodied and dry, flavours of plum and cherry with well-integrated oak fill the palate. Beautifully balanced and very Burgundian in style, it’s a great bargain at $18.95 a bottle. Serve it with duck breast or roast chicken. That’s Kilian Hunn Pinot Noir from Germany at Vintages outlets. For Post City Magazines, I’m Tony Asper, 680 News. ($18.95, Vintages # 523985) (90)
KILIAN HUNN goes for loess !

...and the results leave us on a high! We only cultivate vines that grow and mature especially well on the fertile loess soils of the Tuniberg vinyards. Because the vines like the soil so much, they reward us with juicy grapes with extraordinary aromas. From these grapes we can create a variety of wines where each and every one can shine with its own uniqueness.
